I like these games for the platforming elements etc, their (albeit rather simple) "puzzles" and alike and of course the story bits (although TRA obviously isn't a prime example for a TR story, granted neither were the first few installments of the game anyway, at least not compared to the more recent ones). (Maybe I could consider turning that off next time, but it was enabled from the start and seemed just so convenient.)Īlso, everything needs way too many shots to be killed, whereas Lara only withstands 3-5 direct hits. What I'm struggling with is this game's combat difficulty because I find it hard to control Lara so as to do anything specific in combat (jump, roll, kick) that would make her avoid any attacks, except for trying to run away all the time, which is often contradicted by the auto-aim thing.
