You can try connecting to any server that appears on the server list in the VyprVPN app, regardless of if there is a ping number or not. Users connecting from China are encouraged to try the Chameleon protocol on all devices. We are aware that some users within China are having trouble connecting at this time. We are working to resolve this as quickly as possible, and you should still be able to complete your payment currently using Paypal. We are currently aware that some customers are having trouble making payments with credit cards at this time. Update (5:00 PM CST) : This is now resolved at this time. Canada, UK, and Germany are still affected. Update (2:00 PM CST): This is resolved on our US server locations at this time. Update (9:00 AM CST): US server locations are again having trouble accessing locally-exclusive content on Netflix We are working to get this resolved as quickly as possible and will provide an update as soon as we can. In the meantime, you are still able to view everything that is available on Netflix globally. We appreciate your patience and will post updates here. To change the protocol in the VyprVPN app, Tap Customize, select Protocol, and choose IKEv2 or OpenVPN. Currently, we recommend connecting with a different protocol. We are aware of issues when using Wireguard on iOS 15 Beta. This issue is resolved in the recently released 4.2.5.5 version of VyprVPN for iOS! Until this is resolved, please use our Contact Supportpage or email us directly at 15 Beta Connection Trouble The app may show that it has successfully sent the request, but we are currently not receiving these on our end. We are currently investigating an issue with the in-app Contact Support and Report A Bug functions. Update (9:00 PM CST): This has been resolved, and customers can successfully contact support from the VyprVPN app. We have submitted reports to many antivirus organizations to correct this as soon as possible. You can safely set your security software to ignore VyprVPN, and continue using the service regularly. Please rest assured that the VyprVPN application contains no malicious code, and will not harm your devices in any way. Many antivirus systems, including Windows Defender, Norton, Avira, and others, are falsely flagging VyprVPN and other VPN services as potential threats. We are currently investigating an issue causing some customers to be unable to log into the VyprVPN app or establish a connection when logged in. Please log out and back into the VyprVPN app if you are still unable to connect. Update (9:30 AM CST): This issue is resolved. This doesn't mean you can't use PPTP protocol anymore - but it does unfortunately mean that we will be severely limited in being able to assist with PPTP connection issues, and we will in many cases recommend using more modern VPN protocols, such as Wireguard or OpenVPN. This decision will free up our technology teams to focus on the future of VPN, rather than being stuck in the past. For that reason we have chosen to discontinue active support for the PPTP protocol on our server backend. Sadly, the VPN world has moved on from PPTP, and the once-popular VPN protocol is no longer considered secure.
